D-Money
Erixon pulled a Semi - Justin Schultz on CGY and got traded to NYR. Now he's in Columbus. FAIL.
goalie13
The league should block this trade ala Chris Paul. What a joke. New York had so many better prospects who shoulda been expendable.
Sharpshooter
Haha NHLSourcesSay reported that the 4th piece was McDonagh. A minute later Dreger reports that it was, in fact, Anisimov Further proof that these rumour guys are just taking wild guesses Bad trade for CBJ imo. Could have gotten a lot more than that for Nash
250Integra
If thats all it took, I really have no idea why Gillis couldn't have offered something better.
JLumme
Possibly the beginning of the end for the Blue Jackets in Columbus. Bottom 5 attendance, losing millions every year, and most likely another lottery pick season and more of the same problems.
Jester@wraiths.ca
LOL. Trading your franchise player for this? NYR got a steal!

Alchemy Time
On further review, Sather must have threatened Howson's family, but even so, I still wouldn't understand why Howson made this trade.

hockeyville88
People are saying that CBJ didn't get shortchanged because Nash is overrated and on the decline Well next season he'll be on a Cup-contending team so there will be no more excuses for him. Let's see if he plays to potential or fizzles out. That's what will really determine who won this trade.
Sharpshooter
Erixon, Murray, Moore and Savard, is a pretty good young dcorps, if they continue their trajectory.

canucks_dynasty
It's clear that CBJ are in full rebuild with that fail of a trade. Next year's CBJ slogan... "Not Winnon to get MacKinnon" - yeah...that's all I could come up with (not good as Fail for Nail).
250Integra
Most of you people are calling Howson stupid now but also trashed him when reports came out that he didn't accept this offer back in February. CDC

Blömqvist
The league should block this trade ala Chris Paul. What a joke. New York had so many better prospects who shoulda been expendable. Maybe Howson thinks guys can emerge playing in bigger roles. I kinda wish Gilly went after Nash after seeing this return. Schneider plus a little bit for Nash woulda been nice. JasetheCanuck
Dubinsky is the centerpiece going back to Columbus, and he's a solid player who had an off year with the Rags lat year. That being said he's now surrounded by a less talented team, so it will be interesting to see how he fares next year.

cdubuya
2005/11/30 Boston Bruins traded Joe Thornton to the San Jose Sharks for Marco Sturm, Brad Stuart and Wayne Primeau. Boston traded a 100 point man for about the same overall quality...
