Jester@wraiths.ca
I sure hope he isn't "ready" for the start of the season, because it will mean he very likely rushed to return. I'd rather he took an extra month to make sure he's healing fine.
thehamburglar
Hope he heals as many said. Hope also that there's no lockout.
Drybone
Kesler why you no wait until you are healed no?
Underachieving Hero of CDC
It was missing a full summer of training last year that did him in. This wouldn't solve that problem. Neither would sitting him for an extra couple of months. Any way you look at it, he's going to be a step behind everybody else in the league when his season starts. Some players can get back to top form really quickly after an injury (think Sami Salo), but Kes didnt really respond well to this situation last time. RXnucks975
As long as Kesler doesn't push himself to the point to injury again. Bring him back at a slow pace, give him less minutes to start the seasons, and less time in front of the net on the PP (use Kass, Booth, or who ever) and let him get back in to the swing of things before we put the game in mr Kesler's hands
Ktakatch
Funny, 'cause I'd say the same about Edler and the Sedins.

bossram
Please no. Let him FULLY recover. I want him 100% for 65 games and playoffs. Not 75% for the whole season.
Milk Hot Dog
I'll chain myself to the door so he can't get in
mrsasaki
I don't care if he actually is 115% ready for the season opener, I don't want him playing for the first 10 games
SSFW
The actual injury suffered by Kesler (a torn labrum) and actual estimated recovery time after surgery is between 4 to 6 weeks in length for the labrum to reattach itself and an estimated equal amount of time for the labrum to get strong. The Vancouver Sun reported Kesler would likely be out up to 6 months which is an extreme overestimation in my opinion, I see the following scenario for Kesler. 1. Sugery done on May 8 2. Better than normal healing so 4-5 weeks 3. A normal amount of time to allow it to get strong so 6 weeks 4. Any other strengthening etc for said injury probably a couple more weeks. 5. However negatively he has been affected fitnesswise he would need at least a month for that So, worst scenario for a return is around 18 weeks (October 9) or a bit more than 4 months. Here is a link that provides some info so take it easy guys, he will be back sooner than lots expected and not because he pushed it. http://www.hopkinsortho.org/labrum_tear.html Rest easy boys!!! Dogbyte
I'd much rather Kesler rest and come back in beast mode rather than come back not fully recovered only to have more injuries and less points.
keslerian one
I assume he will take at least 1-2 weeks off. That would still be ahead of schedule.
gwarrior
here we go again, sounds like hes trying to push things, he did this last year with his hip and we all saw what happened, i would much rather have him out untill he is definately 100%!!
