-Vintage Canuck-
CBJ sign 2012 first-round pick Ryan Murray to a standard three-year entry level deal: The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed defenseman Ryan Murray to a standard three-year entry level contract, club Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced today. A native of White City, Saskatchewan, Murray recorded 6-40-46, 45 penalty minutes and was +18 in 70 games with Everett in 2010-11. Primal Optimist
I kind of respect the deal the BJ's worked out here. They get some working above average guys on offense, a good dman and a pick for a captain that didn't wana be there anymore. SOmetimes you just get dealth a deuce and a seven and you have to try to make a hand of it. I bet Murray comes in sooner rather than later, and with Erixon and pals (*was looking at wrong player list) we could see an interesting Dee for a few years. Sharpshooter
Murray + Erixon = good young 3rd pairing now and potential top pairing of the future.

Pears
Team Canada this year, has the most depth out of all the countries competing in this years World Juniors. The highest drafted defencemen from the 2012 draft will not be playing, however we still have access to the next 2 Defencemens (Morgan Reily, Griffin Reinhard). We also have offensive beast Dougie Hamilton, Matty Dumba, the list goes on. Huge lost for the team, but we have monster depth. Team Canada also has Ryan Nugent Hopkins. So I think it will be fine. If he was American or Finnish, might be different. I have faith in team Canada.
