He was sitting in the press box when we supposedly needed him most (size for the playoffs), so getting onto the 4th line WOULD be having more of an impact...

You really have no clue.

Raymond = 15, Lapierre = 15, Hansen = 20. that's not entirely out of the realm of possibility

Maxim lapierre is a guy who trys to perfect himself more and more every year apparently lapierre is 221lbs of muscle right now looking to lose 6 lbs for the season, meaning he will be heavier on his feet this year and he will be listed anywhere from 8-10lbs bigger then last year. He was talking on on the radio in MTL a couple days ago saying that he wants to remain fast but get stronger, he also says that Vancouver is where he wants to play in the years to come. I am more and more impressed with lappys commitment to the team. What do u guys think?

Lappy loves to be hated, therefore a perfect fit for the Canucks - some how the most hated team in the league. Good on him for striving to get better every year and helping to increase our chances of returning to the finals in the near future. Quality guy, team player, good energy guy, effective agitator. Can't ask for much more out of your bottom 6.

I love Lappy so much as a player. I've wanted him since his Montreal days. The guy has a great sense of humour and is committed to the game.

Glad to know he loves to be a Canuck.

And it doesn't hurt that his soon-to-be-wife is a Vancouverite ;)

Hopefully he considers Vancouver his second home and settles down here long term at a slight discount.

Not that I agree that Raymond would be on the third line, but he is one of the most defensively responsible fwds on the team........he could easily fill a checkig role with his defensive game and skating ability.

This last year Lappy fought pretty frequently, I think. I love how he takes off his helmet and squares up with his opponent, much better than a 'put-your-helmeted-head-down-and-swing-fast-as-possible' approach. I don't know that he won a majority of his fights but he fought more than before and fought respectably.

That's what I like to see, respect! Play like a pest all you want but show some respect when the time comes!

Higgy, Lappy and Kass would be a dynamite 3rd line!

Raymond - Lapierre - Hansen

Pretty deadly 3rd line that can score 50 goals.

I agree, I think Lapierre and Hansen can score 25 goals each.

6'2 221 is pretty beast, once he drops to 215 he'll probably be solid muscle
