Hobble
I am 'meh' on Burmi. I know he has potential and a good defensive game, I just don't see the huge offensive upside yet. However, I do agree that he may not be easily replaced.
TOMapleLaughs
Assuming there's a lockout or what? The Jets may have been aware of this development, on account of them loading up on a few similar-capability free agents.

Ossi Vaananen
Maybe some of you people will start to share my Russian hate. If they all left for the KHL, it would be a better league IMO. It would also be a nice surprise to see what we're up against in WC/Olympics.
Monty
As a Jets season ticket holder, I'm neither here nor there if this should come to play. Burmistrov is still incredibly young, and might burst out with more talented players. Or, at best, he is a good 3rd line center with a great defensive game. That said, wouldn't be too disappointed. Not as if Cheveldayoff is making of habit of drafting or signing Russian free agents. If it happens, ce la vie.

JohnLocke
I am sorry to say that 80-90% of the Russian players are all selfish and all about money. That other 10% is Datsyuk.
