hockeyville88 Posted August 15, 2012 Share Posted August 15, 2012 Great comeback by Canada. Our backend was really impressing me. Sick snipe by Strome. He, Huberdeau, and Scheiffle are going to be beauties. Also really enjoyed Hamilton's game. One thing I haven't been too impressed with about Canada in recent Junior Hockey tournaments is goaltending. We went through that great string of performances from guys like Mason, Pogge, and Price but since then it's been all downhill. Some very poor performances at the WJHC and even in this year's Can-Rus Challenge I wasn't too impressed with what I saw. Malcolm Subban was ok but not as good as what he's been made out to be. With all the other nations producing really good young goalies, I think Canada needs to step it up in that department. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
