Robert Nordmark
Yeah, +1 for ad free boards. Seems like lots of commercial breaks, but I think they only did one 30-second commercial every break in those days. RIP Don Whitman. Anyway the '82 run was when I became a fan at age 10, so this is really cool, thanks for this. And lol at the brawl causing an early intermission around 18 minutes into the 1st! (34:30 into the video) And, no playoff beards? Apparently those were invented by the Islanders around that time. Plenty of mustaches though. And half the guys with no helmets. This rocks. chayne
Great game! I remember seeing a replay as a kid. It would be fun to find all the games from the 82 run and rewatch
Guest
Still have my ticket stub from game 4. Cheering for the isles though! Canucks never really stood a chance, but it was magical.
NLluvitorleaveit
Awesome Canuck History and like other posters have said, cool that there are no ads on the boards
bluesman60
Thank you for posting the game....it brought back many happy memories. Stan 'the Streamer' Smyl....best captain we ever had. Harold Snepts, King Richard Brodeur, Jim Nill, Thomas Gradin, Smyl. Ivan Bolderev, Darcy Rota and Gerry Minor all played their hearts out. Ron Delorme, Tiger Williams and Snepts took care of anyone that went after the skilled players. That team was all heart and hard work.
