73 Percent
Well, the NHL has made an opening offer on July 15.This is where we are at. The NHLPA will make a counter offer when it is ready- they don't have a timeline. The NHL offer is considered quite 'extreme' by many so it's not like the counter proposal is expected to bring the sides really close. So, you can 'hope' for hockey in the fall or you can be realistic about it and accept that there is zero chance that the season will start in October. Rounoush
I've already suffered so bad with just a few months away from hockey. How could I possibly go a whole year?

D.Doughty
I also heard Zettleberg and Lack would go there too.
cs2016
Too bad Jensen couldn't sign with MODO so of a lockout did occur, Jensen would at least be able to play and get mentored by some all-Stars.
mabbott
If there's a lock out im going with the theory of a conspiracy that the league is against the canucks to push them out of their projected cup window.

uber_pwnzor
As Elitserien is the like third best hockey league in the world (after te NHL and KHL) a lot of NHL'ers will probably come play here, jus like they did in 2004/05. If I remember it correctly, Näslund pretty much sucked when he came to play for MODO...

DeltaSwede
It would likely depend on which other forwards join the SEL that year. If Frolunda HC has the likes of Henrik Lundqvist, Erik Karlsson, Daniel Alfredsson, and Loui Eriksson, they could appear pretty strong as well. Alex Steen and Lars Eller also have ties to that team. Sami Salo played for them during the last lockout; perhaps he would join them again.
Pears
I think I'd be looking into finding out how/where to watch Swedish hockey if this happened.
