Erik Karlsson
I think this deal is pretty even on both sides. To Fla Luongo - all star goalie Hansen - solid depth winger Schroeder - future # 2 or # 3 center Rodin - top 6 potential To Van Bjugstad - future 1st or 2nd liner Versteeg - 50-60 point player, would suit Booth and Kes well imo Matthias - young, big, gritty, solid defensively Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Booth-Kesler-Versteeg Higgins-Matthias-Kassian Pinnizzotto-Malholtra-Lapierre Our bottom 6 is pretty big with those players and our top 6 is a lot more skilled with Versteeg and a healthy Kes. Our 3rd line would destroy.

Drybone
I do this deal but I do not believe the Panthers do. I appreciate your trade effort. Its not easy coming up with trade proposals. Here is what I think a fair offer is Van Bjugstad Florida Luongo Raymond 1st round pick in 2013

Drybone
That's a ridiculous overpayment. Bjugstad is still playing in college.
Gino Odjick
Instead of being negative why dont you put up your own proposal . Anyone can rip someone elses proposal down. Be a man and put up your own.

Drybone
He's not being negative - he's being realistic. That's the point of a thread... so people can reply to each other. Also, we're now measuring the true mark of a man by how many useless topics he can create in an internet forum? I'm confused.
Drybone
To Vancouver: Nick Bjugstad + Quinton Howden + 2013 1st To Florida: Roberto Luongo + Jannik Hansen + 2014 1st
Drybone
I know you weren't speaking to me, but, here is my manly proposal for you to rip... 1. Keep Luongo and have the NHL's best goaltending to help you towards a franchise first Cup. 2. Luongo for Versteeg and Goc.
Pears
I would easily do this trade, but I doubt Florida does.
Hugemanskost
Lui is 33 and has 10 years left. I think Luongo is worth a mid first rounder. Like 15th overall . So in my opinion how do we go from a 15th overall to 3rd overall Add in a potential 20 goal guy who has his slumps , Raymond raising this to probably 10th or 8th overall. Go from 8th overall adding a 26th to 30th pick (hopefully) probably gets us to 3rd. Maybe not. Im sure there are several other combinations to get us to 3rd overall but this was one I used to include Lui.
BZRK
lol. They get a top 10 goalie, an excellent third liner, and two first round picks in 2014 for two prospects that have yet to play an NHL game, and a 1st. Vancouver gets no 1st's in 2014 while Florida gets no 1st's 2013. A fair trade off IMO.
Pears
Would you be opposed of us giving up a 2013 1st and they give us a 2014 1st?
coastal1
To get Bjugstad, the canucks will have to add, at a minimum, Jennsen to any Luongo package (not Gaunce as he is not highly regarded outside vancouver).
Everybody Hates Raymond
It all depends on Doan's decision to see what we want out of that trade

susraiders
Florida will laugh at us. If they can't agree on a Luongo for Bjustad trade, their is no way that we receive more value wise.
