mrsasaki
who do you think will break out as our next rival, whenever that happens to be? maybe not something as huge as chicago, maybe around calgarys level. i would think either LA or Anaheim, one more good playoffs series with either could spark something. Canucksbiggestfan
I think were going to have some pretty intense games against Minnesota and maybe even see them in the playoffs.

Vancity87
LA Kings in the near future. However, with the remodelling of our team on the horizon I would say the rival of the future is Edmonton.

Salter
Why does everyone think we have a rivelry against the LA Kings? We lost one first round playoff series to them...that means nothing, they were the best team and we went in their path. Big deal, losing a playoff series doesn't make a rivelry. Tortorella's Rant
Totally different. Chicago isn't a rivaly because we lost one series. It's a little more deep than that. Boston we lost to in the SCF GAME 7 ! That's a little different than Round 1. LA has 4 new Rivalries this year? Every team that meets in the playoffs forms a rivalry? Columbus beat us in the regular season last year. RIVALRY!

Darth Kane
Canucks fans seem to have hatred for the latest team to oust them in the playoffs and win the Cup. Since you're asking for the next rivalry your essentially asking us to pick the next Stanley Cup winner. Rivals don't come and go every season, generally they build up over time. Although it's lost a little (just a little) bit of steam I still think the best rivalry in the West is Chicago and Vancouver. Maybe next season it gets a little more intense? JasetheCanuck
highly likely MIN. we see them the most and they got two of the best players added to their lineup. will be good games to watch.

kylecanuck
I honestly see Edmonton or minny being our next rivals, leaning towards minny. With the acquisitions they've made it's going to make for some intense games against them I believe.
