Wouldn't be surprised, they got lots of depth back from the Nash trade

If they trade for a true #1 goalie then maybe.

Everybody underrates them.

Quote me on it. The CBJ will make the playoffs in 2012-2013.

They have no real first-line players. Umberger, Dubinsky, Brassard, Johansen, Foligno and arguably potentially Anisimov and Atkinson are all 2nd liners. Unless several of their young guys have break-out seasons or they get some sort of miracle out of one of Mason or Bobrovsky, there is no way they make the playoffs.

They don't have a single top line forward, a single top pair defenceman , or a starting goaltender.

They'll be lucky if they're not in the basement again.

Defence pairings will most likely be the following:

Tyutin - Nikitin

Johnson - Wiz

Murray - Aucoin

No BlueJackets need Goaltending first to make the playoffs.
