All Threads Must Contain Tags!   07/25/2017

ALL THREADS MUST CONTAIN TAGS   All threads in this forum must contain tags prefixed to topic titles. The purpose of the tags is to eliminate confusion in recent threads lists, and to create an organized and consistent environment. Moderators may immediately lock and thread that does not contain tags.    Tags must be placed at the start of your thread title, following this exact formatting:    [Tag] Thread Title   Here are some of the most used popular tags:    [Proposal]
A trade, or trades, for next season, or even the off-season.
      [Off-Season]
FA signings, off-season trades for RFA's, UFA's rights etc...
      [Value Of]
(A question regarding a players worth, whether from another team, or the Canucks)
[Speculation] Posting a rumor (with a source of course), but providing why it could be possible for the Canucks to land that player.   [Discussion]
Thoughts on team trading strategy and composition.   Please feel free to create your own tag if none of these suit your thread.

(Value Of) Johnathan Huberdeau

Recommended Posts

There is a tiny chance we might see Johnathan Huberdeau in the Luongo deal, but certainly not Luongo for Huberdeau straight up. Florida has a hole on defense after losing Garrison to us, so Tallon would most likely ask for Tanev. Huberdeau would boost our prospect pool tremendously and he would be worth whatever we gave up in 1-3 years.

So in your opinion, what would it take to get Huberdeau?

Luongo, Edler, Raymond, 1st....its not too much because Edler is a UFA next season so Florida would be taking a big risk there if Edler doesn't sign with them next year.

Stick with Bjugstad.. Huberdeau is already one of the 3 faces of the franchise (Gudbranson,Campbell are the others) and hasn't even played a game for them yet.

The Canucks WILL NOT get Huberdeau, he is untouchable to them, it would a significant overpayment to even get Tallon to listen.

Holy crap, how many times does this idea have to keep getting tossed around.

Huberdeau and Gudbranson are untouchable.

We cannot, and will not get either in a Luongo deal.

First step is to take out Luongo and Schneider from the discussion. Florida just doesnt need a goalie.

Then Florida could listen to proposal for Huberdeau.

Booth + Garrison?

Hes not untouchable! everyone says he is but i heard somewhere that DT said that bjugstad and huberdeau have almost the same value. i dont remeber where, maybe it was a rumor or something but i would rather huberdeau over bjugstad anyday

maybe lu, raymond, rodin, sauve, 1st?

maybe switch hansen and raymond tho i dont want to lose hansen.

Not a chance, i bet ya that he is untouchable. Getting Bjugstad is already proven to be an incredibly difficult task.
