Riviera82
Bertuzzi in his prime and Schneider playing all the games in Boston, I think the Cup is ours in 5/6 games. Maybe even without prime Bert?
CanucksFanMike
The Bruins beat us, it is over, we cant change it.... Time to move on bud
Max-a-Million
Hey, what if the world really was flat? Then Marchand could of skated off the edge of the rink, all the shots at Luongo would have gone over and the Bruins, who can punch, break backs and bones would have fallen over the cliff and we'd have won. winacup
what if the canucks weren't perennial losers? oh yeah, we'd have a cup.

tybarber
Ballard for Bertuzzi... forget the Doan saga... What if Ryan Clowe was caught illegally playing that puck in the second to last game of the season? Then the kings might have scored on the PP and might have won, then they might have been in 7th place, then we might have beaten the Sharks the 8th seed, gotten our legs under us, then might have beaten in the kings in the WCF, assuming of course they were able to go on the same run, then we might have beaten the devils and we might have had a cup... What if...
canucks_qc
Let's say Bertuzzi would have been on our team at his prime, let's say he would have scored 3 goals during the Stanley Cup Final, we would have scored a poor total of 11 goals in 7 games, that's a GFA of 1,57 that's good enough to win a game here and there but not for winning a best of seven series. The toughness it's not only about one player it's a team mentality, so yes we was too soft against the Bruins and one player isn't going to change it all. The best exemple I have in mind it's with George Laraque, one of the best guy in his role, there is one game I will always remember and it's a game the Canucks was playing against the Habs, what did happen the whistle blow, the play was in the Canucks zone, Laraque was in the corner with all the Canucks around him, the Habs' players was skating to the bench like if nothing was happening, only Hamrlik came to help Laraque. Everybody here wasn't happy because Laraque wasn't dropping the gloves like everybody was hoped, but who really want to fight for guys who can't even pull a player by his jersey. It would have been the samething if we only had Bertuzzi, we aren't talking about fightning but it's about the samething, if nobody follow your lead you will be tired of beeing the only one doing that job and you will evantually stop doing it. Grinder_1
I always imagined if in last years Stanley cup final our issue against the Bruins wasn't just injuries but that we just weren't big and strong enough that If we had Bertuzzi in his prime when he was with Vancouver in the WCE days during the time he was probably the best power forward in the game and he was paired with the Sedins would you think we couldve won that one extra game or would we have had the same results and get pushed around I personally would"ve liked our chances with Bertuzzi in his prime and think we could've won that 7th game and if Luongo played a little bit better than he did Marchand wouldn't have thought of punching Daniel and the rest of the Bruins would think twice about going after one of our stars thoughts? Master Mind
If Bertuzzi hit a single Bruin, it's pretty much a guarantee he'd get thrown out of the game. There was no way we could have won game 7 with the way that series went.
Watermelons
What if we also had Pavel Bure in his prime?? The Bruins wouldn't want to mess with this would they: And I hear that this guy could score as well...
Canuckian93
I'm just saying if we had Bertuzzi in his prime and put him in game 7 instead of burrows and place him on the third with torres and lapierre and put hansen on the fourth I think the result would be different.
