Smashian Kassian
Datsyuk 95??? He has sick hands & stuff but it's a bit high, aswell as Ovie's, and Giroux should be higher. Oh well, I'm just excited for the game, hopefully for the most part the ratings are better than previous years, cause some peoples have been brutal in 11 and 12. Sanj
Datsyuk 95??? He has sick hands but it's a it high and some of his attributes are overrated imo. His bodychecking isn't 84, I don't think his shot blocking is 87, his strength isn't 88. He's great defensively but he's not know for his body checking and shot blocking like he is rated. Smashian Kassian
why are you surprised? Datsyuk is one of, if not, the best players in the NHL
timberz21
I would have put Stamkos and Malkin at 93 and Ovie and Datsyuk at 91.
Gino Odjick
Curious what Schneider's overall rating is. Regardless, I always do some tweaking on the Canucks roster. What? Don't pretend like you haven't done it too.

Sanj
Idk he's amazing but I think the only players who should be 95 are Crosby, Stamkos and maybe Malkin, I think 93 was the perfect rating for him.
Martin Frk
I dont even care about the ratings, I just want the game to come out! so Pumped!
Smashian Kassian
I would take Datsyuk over Crosby in a heartbeat but again thats my personal opinion.
Blueberries
Sid has higher ratings in most categories than Datsyuk and think 93 for him would have been fine but 95 is high. STAMKOS AND MALKIN ARE SO UNDERRATTED IN THAT RATINGS like Stamkos should be 93(cmon 60 goal season) and Malkin 94(best player in world last season).Ovie should be 91. And Sedins are 90?? or lower??? -Vintage Canuck-
I remember in NHL 11, Darcy Hordichuk being something like 81 overall. I don't mind the change.

n00bxQb
They've changed the way they calculate overall, FYI. IIRC, skating attributes factor in more now (new skating engine) where, before, skating barely made any difference to the overall. Also, overall is no longer calculated based on player type, but position.
Tanev's Smirk
I've never been a fan of the EA rating system, but I'm looking forward to drafting in this years title. The new system seems to be a major improvement and I'll probably be able to actually draft the type of player I want this time around.

SheaWeber6
Why the hell is Miller always rated better than Quick and Lundqvist? Miller is not the best goalie in hockey right now, what a joke.
