Who will fight Keith on Nov 15th?

I would like to see Byron Bitz (re-sign), Volpatti , Pinnizzuto , Kassian and Bieksa match up first shift and just start throwing haymakers at BlackHawks.

Take out suspensions on Toews, Keith and Kane and send them to hospital.

Send a message to the League that our stars won't be gooned anymore unless you want to lose your own assets.

Like many people have said. Keith isn't a fighter. So he isn't going to square off with Boom Boom, Kassian or Wiese. So all you are suggesting is the kind of garbage that resulted in the Bertuzzi situation.

I always thought that our reputation around the league was a little unfair but threads like this are what make Canucks fans look bad. No one is going to fight Keith, perhaps more accurately, Keith isn't going to fight anyone. The chance to stand up for Danny was when it happened. Not pre-meditating a beat down 6 months later.

Exactly, and exactly why the Canucks need someone like him. The enforcer DOES have a place in hockey.

But, be prepared for a bunch of "team toughness throughout" responses from the folks on this site, who honestly appear to think that guys like Kevin Bieksa, Max Lapierre, and Dale Weise are actually some sort of deterrent.

Tag team showdown:

Hank and Dank VS. Keith and Bolland

seriously though....if they want to run at the sedins, and keith wont answer the bell....then everyone on our team targets kane.

hes little, and after edler wiped him out during the 3rd series, he was too scared to do anything.

until keith aswers for his cheapshot....kane is toast.

he will step up if thats the case.

nobody, this teams too feline to stick up for one another.

IMO

Sigh. Here we go again.

No, this team is not feline. This team once had a guy who stuck up for his teammate - his best friend at the time. It ended very badly and cast a black shadow over this team/city for a long time. That never really goes away and, along with the black cloud came a black mark.

Referees don't appear to care for this team and, while some teams can get away with "sticking up for one another", this one can't. Double standards are the only consistency.

It's not that they're feline - it's a damned if you do/don't thing. If they do stick up for each other, it comes with (lengthy) suspensions and that doesn't help anyone in the end. If they don't, posters like you take potshots at them.

Sure, I'd like them to clobber guys like Bieksa used to - but there's a flipside when they do and it's called injury, penalties, suspensions, etc. It's worked against them in the past so they've opted to go a different route. Not because the
