We didn't get to see a single Kassian fight last season

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you

Keith is gutless as evidenced by his history of cheap-shotting players he feels did him some wrong versus challenging them.

He won't fight!

I lost all respect for him after the shot on Danny followed by his refusal to stand up and be counted when Bieksa and, I think, Weise challenged him later.

He's a gutless puke in my book and personally, I hope someone like Marchand takes him out at the knees hard! He deserves it.

I sincerely hope no one does. It would be so pointless. This is a sad, sad thread. Even more sad that some people actually think that Keith needs physical harm inflicted upon him.

Keith isn't much of a fighter, so of he goes at all it will be with someone on our team who also doesn't fight very much.

This.
The NHL is NOT!! the WWE. If someone on the Canucks roster wanted to do something it should have been done already.
This thread is pointless.

I hope someone other then Weise fights him, Weise would probably lose...

If there's a lockout I don't really see anyone doing anything to him on our team, unless AV lets the leash off some of our players. ( Bieksa, Kassian)

Weise has been taking boxing lessons, hopefully he'll be a bit better this year...

You mean like the physical harm he deilberately inflicted on Danny that possibly cost the Nucks a cup run? If Keith had done that back in the day when hockey was policed effectively by players, someone like Semenko would have rearranged every tooth in his mouth! Which is precisely why, he would never have done it in the first place. These aree't choir boys. LIve by the sword...

Maybe you should watch poker?!

Let's hope Gillis.org finally places a deterrent on the ice at all times with the Sedins.

Superstars should not be subject to beatings and concussions.

I hope Gillis doesn't make a conspriacy like Crawford did against Moore for hitting Naslund.

I know it may seem a bit immature to still hold a grudge on Kieth for as long as we have, but let's get real here. He intentionally elbowed one of our star players and showed little remorse. If he's going to play the way he did, he should expect the same thing back until he learns his lesson.

Exactly, and exactly why the Canucks need someone like him. The enforcer DOES have a place in hockey.

But, be prepared for a bunch of "team toughness throughout" responses from the folks on this site, who honestly appear to think that guys like Kevin Bieksa, Max Lapierre, and Dale Weise are actually some sort of deterrent.

I'd rather the Canucks just win the game, first and foremost

Let people like Marchand, Cooke and Eager go after Keith... taking retribution for something that long ago is pointless.

Don't get me wrong, I hope he does get smacked around, but I think it would be stupid for a Canuck to go out of their way to fight him.

Bieksa is the toughest guy on our team so I would hope its him.

Would also love to see kassian running around Ben eagar style hitting everything hawk in sight including Crawford.

You forgot, he cost San Jose the series against us

Bieksa is a good match, top pairing d-man of equal size. Don't expect Keith to accept a challenge from some plug.

Im asking who will drop the gloves with keith not who will ruin his career by injuring him severly. Last time I checked, fighting was allowed in the nhl.

Rather than anyone fighting him I'd like to see the entire team just take each and every opportunity to hit him legally within the game. Some guys are far more willing to take a few punches than spend an entire game getting nailed to the boards and I'm betting Keith is one of them.

I dunno, he sure can take a punch and keep throwing. Definitely not the best fighter, but you gotta be tougher to take a beating than give one.

He wont fight.

Maybe Burrows but that's probably the only one who'll get Keith to drop the gloves.

I would loved at that time if juice turned around and tee'd off on Dave "I've never even faught in my hockey career and think I'm tough" Bolland.

To me that may have been just as sweet as watching Keith get pounded
