I bought the RBK 7K Sickick a while back and really liked it.

I got a new Winnwell stick from Canadian Tire for street hockey and I absolutely love it.

Edit :: It was super cheap at $30.00 or something.

I've got an awesome one that's a composite( I know that doesn't help much) with a Sakic curve, wicked wristers it gives and it cost me about $80, of this thread is still active during the day I'll go out to the barn and grab the name of it :) . I also have some cheap Sherwood wood composites, Bobby Ryan curves...also good for wristers and snaps. I also tried a Rbk87 one about 125$, didn't like it though. Those stealth sticks are pretty cool as well but I think they're about $350. Don't curve your composites either...it weakens them by like 40%...which really sucks. Wooden sticks were better as you could curve them without really weakening them too bad...I miss those days

My suggestions would depends how old you are.
Until you're 15 or 16, don't even both buying an expensive stick, you won't get any real value out of it.

I've always had good times with CCM U+'s, you could get a good U+ Crazy Light for about $150.

Warrior Dolomite, it's price went down quite a bit and it is amazing. If you can find one, get the bauer one95, I found mine for 50 bucks and it feels great and almost as good as the totalone.

What stick were you using before? The new CCM RBZ just came out today but it starts at $250. You could always look at last year's top of the line sticks on clearance.

I wish I was good enough for my stick to be the problem (I also run into the same issue with my golf clubs). I've always liked my wood stick, and havn't really used anything else.

For someone not very good (like me) does a better stick actually do anything???

Awesome. I use the same stick with the Hall curve, but I got mine for 50. It's good for wristers and snap shots, not so great on the slappers. Maybe its just me though.

Right now I use a Bauer Vapor X4.0 and a Supreme One95. The One95 was a great stick, but I outgrew the flex, so it's just my backup now. I tried to look for a stiffer version, but they don't make it anymore, so I picked up the Vapor instead. It feels good and I can get off some wicked wristers and snapshots with it, but my slapper is more inconsistent. It could be just my technique, which is more suited for the old stick and may not be working for the new one.

I like Bauer's gear, but I wish they would just stick to one product for a while instead of constantly coming out with new lines and versions of current equipment. If I find a piece of equipment that works, I want I be able to but the same one the next time I need a replacement. Not to mention the constant renamings and new products are confusing as hell unless you're a total gear nerd.

Do you feel like there's a big difference between the Vapor and Supreme series? I'm looking into getting a new stick soon but I'm not sure what the difference are between the two.
