Expectiations for Kassian?

10 goals 25 assists, he's a pass first player and I agree with GHL, he should be on the Sedin line, unless you guys want to continously see our best players getting cheap shotted against each night, it's getting a little rediculous, Gillis and AV better pull their heads out of their asses.

I liked Hodgson, but I'm not so sure he has a tough enough streak to be effective in the playoffs. The Canucks are fine in the regular season, but fade when the going gets tough, thru along playoff run. Gillis knows this and coupled with the fact I'm not so sure Hodgson wanted to be here, paved the way for Gillis to acquire Kassian. I like what I've initially seen from Kassian and he has the potential to be far more effective in the playoffs than Hodgson.

I expect 20 goals and 28 assits if he can fit on the Sedin line. If only 2,3 or 4th line then uner 10 goals and less than 15 assists. IMO they should give him as much time with the Sedins as possible. Not for the regular season but to prepare for the playoffs. Teams dont seem able or worried about pushing the twins around too much during regular season. But in a 7 game series it has and will continue to be a story. I like Booths size but he aint detering any unwanted attension. Plus with Burrows on a different line his numbers will go down making it easier to re sign him for a little less. Fingers crossed.

He's a much better player now than he gets credit for. He's actually pretty good defensively, and his passing is quite underrated. I think he'll be the most improved player if the season ever gets underway, and challenge for a top-6 role.

He can't POSSIBLY be worse than Raymond.

he needs to be better conditioned to stay in the game for a whole 60 min, too many times last year he seemed gassed at the mid way mark and rode the pine for the 3rd. sounds like he has been beasting in the gym this summer so im excited to see what a leaner meaner kassian can do. the potential is there, he just needs to take it

it is not like you are gonna see a same player you never know, he lost 20 pounds and has ten times more leg strength, harder yo knock of puck, way faster even though he was fast before, an amazing work ethic, more skill, like he has worked hiss ass so hard he should be seeing more time
