Grinder_1
Yes I know he is old and does not move his feet much, but he has always had wicked hands and a crazy shot maybe this is the guy we need to open up some room on the ice for Kesler
10minMisconduct
Let's see if we can entice Pavel Bure to come out of retirement to play for us because he's got awesome hands too!

shawn antoski
I would take him for no more then 2 million a season( if we cant get Doan or another capable top 6 while kesler is out) - use him on the pp - use him in practice to lead all the stick handling drill - shoot out FORWARDS Daniel Sedin ($6.100m) / Henrik Sedin ($6.100m) / Alexandre Burrows ($2.000m) David Booth ($4.250m) / Jordan Schroeder ($1.025m) / Alex Kovalev ($2.000m) Chris Higgins ($1.900m) / Maxim Lapierre ($1.000m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m) Mason Raymond ($2.275m) / Manny Malhotra ($2.500m) / Zack Kassian ($0.870m) Dale Weise ($0.615m) / Andrew Ebbett ($0.600m) / Ryan Kesler ($5.000m) LTIR

-Vintage Canuck-
Allhockey.ru is reporting that Alex Kovalev told a Swiss team (HC Geneva) that he’s received offers from North American teams. If we're to believe Allhockey.ru, Kovalev's told http://t.co/qhxdUTv9 Swiss club HC Geneva that he's gotten offers from North American teams— George Malik (@georgemalik) August 16, 2012

Kesler's Nose
If he couldn't perform at a KHL level, I don't see how he thinks he can make an NHL come back.. Maybe Pittsburgh will take him, or a desperate team that wants to take a gamble on scoring. I see him fitting into our plans even less than Raymond does. Mcfly
Cripes. He may not be what we need, its agreed. I don't see it. But give some credit where it's due. Check out his career highlights and you'd see why he's one of the best. Kovalev has sick skill.
Canuck Surfer
Does anyone else remember when we were reported to have been knocked back on a Pavel Bure trade for Kovalev, because we apparently asked to include a recent first round top prospect > a big, young hotshot centre... Named Manny Malhotra! Yes I know he is old and does not move his feet much, but he has always had wicked hands and a crazy shot maybe this is the guy we need to open up some room on the ice for Kesler
Mayray2112
I'd rather Kovalev now than Raymond last year on the 2nd line.
