WHL rocks
It's still off season ppl. Relax. There is no "saga" going on. Lu should not be traded just for the sake of just making a traded. Patience is a virtue. If Doan signs with PHX it might be the best thing to happen to the Canucks. His age and salary might make Doan the worst contract in the league in a couple of years if rumours of how much $ it will take to sign him are true. Tyler83
So what if the court rules against the city and it has to go to a referendum is he not taking that into consideration?
D-Bo7
This has been the case the whole time. I don't see why all these fans are jumping the gun as if he is already signed. Stuff we already know: He wants to stay in phoenix He'll re-sign there if ownership is in place Jamison has the money to buy the team Nothing from that interview has changed any of those things. There is still the issue of the lease agreement, which could completely change Jamison's ability to purchase the team. Like I said, there is no guarantee the agreement will be in place before the 15th. Talk about people jumping to conclusions.

WHL rocks
Awesome, great news. Doan will re-sign with PHX. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=404699 Wait and see ppl, this guy will be over the hill and not worth his contract in 2 years. CDC will be happy we never got this guy. 50Pts per year for 6 or 7 mill? Fogetaboutit!!!
D-Bo7
I feel like some people really aren't following this saga very closely, including TSN. They're ignoring a huge issue that very well could mean Doan leaving Phoenix. A source confirmed to ESPN.com Tuesday evening that suitor Greg Jamison, the former president and CEO of the San Jose Sharks, has finally arranged financing that would allow him to purchase the team from the National Hockey League for $170 million, and that any issues with the lease agreement between the City of Glendale and Jamison’s investors for Jobing.com Arena, where the Coyotes play, are expected to be resolved by the end of September. D-Bo7
Yet another issue that people are ignoring: http://www.azcentral...ear-ballot.html An appeals court in Glendale ruled yesterday that the sales tax initiative will in fact appear on a ballot and be voted upon. Therefore the citizens of Glendale will likely reject the tax increase, the city will not have the money to pay Jamison, and the deal could very well fall through. Again, this deal appears to be close for alot of people. But in reality it's not.
