Beluga Whale
The defense overalls seem a bit odd, Byfuglen and Phanfeuf both rated higher than Karlson, and Boulion is 83! What is up with that. Also a scary thing to keep in mind is that some of the ridiculous overalls may not get fixed later on due to a lockout.
-Vintage Canuck-
I really hope EA fixes the ratings whenever a roster update comes out somewhere in September/October.

mpt
Oh a side note: Judging by the way EA rated Riemer, Scrivens, Theodore and Clemmensen, Florida and Toronto both really need Luongo

SidneyRaymond
I thought he would be between 85 and 88 on the old rating system. When I found out about how they changed the rating I was expecting at least 83. To say that Holtby is worse of a goalie than Clemmenson, Budaj, Garon, and many others is ridiculous. They have Holtby as like the third worst back up in the conference. That's crazy considering he'll likely be the starter this year. I'd expect they'd rate him at least as good as Reimer which isn't asking a lot.
mpt
Without a doubt, he should be around 80 though. Then again, he's never had starter experience in the NHL regular season. Varlamov was a beast for Washington in the playoffs a few years back, and now he's a mediocre starter.
mpt
I noticed that these screen shots are a bit old, or the rosters haven't been updated. Justin Halpern signed with the Rangers on July 10, yet they still have in on the Capitals roster. Who knows if things will be changed.

DollarAndADream
They said the rosters are updated up to July 1st. Those will be the default rosters I guess, but there is usually a roster update on release day. I'm excited to see the Western Conference tomorrow.
