He probably has 5 stars potential though

His potential is probably high, but he is a better goalie than 73, especially when he is equally as good as neuvirth who is 81.

I'm scared to see our team, my prediction:

Kesler 85
Sedin's 90
Burrows 82
Raymond 78
Booth 82
Manny 80
Lappy 77
Kassian 74
Higgins 81
Hansen 80

Bieksa 81
Hamhuis 82
Ballard 80
Garrison 81
Edler 83
Tanev 73

Luongo 89 (already known)
Schneider 84

I'll probably be wrong on alot of it but they already weren't too generous with some of our team last year (imo) and now after seeing the way the rating's are now I have little hope that some of our players will be rated the way they should be.

Oh a side note:

Judging by the way EA rated Riemer, Scrivens, Theodore and Clemmensen, Florida and Toronto both really need Luongo

I Don't see any way Hamhuis, Edler, Burrows and Bieksa will go up, just look in depth at the eastern ratings, I would call our team a success if we managed to somehow keep the same ratings we had in last years game.

And as always the Stanley Cup champions (in this case LA) will be overrated again.

There's no way Kesler's rating should be higher than both Spezza's (87) and Backstrom's (85).

I fully agree, but I'm just saying what Kesler's rating was on July 19 when I played the game at the NHL 13 open house.

Yeah these were the ratings when I played the game in June too. The ratings they released don't look like they've changed so I doubt the Canucks have changed either.

Oh okay you should have said that initally, my bad.

but in some cases I think it's BS.

Schneider should be better, Hansen should be better, I think Booth should be 83.

Hamhuis, and even Edler and Burrows are overrated kinda but I like that those guys finally got rated better.

Yea. Although I think 88 is a little high for Hamhuis. Maybe 86 or 87 is about right.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Anyone else notice, not one forward from the Eastern Conference was an 88 overall.

I think people need to realize that all prospects are getting cut down. Grabner being better than Hodgson and Brayden riight now by a little makes sense if, in 4 years, Grabner will be worse by a lot. I doubt Gabs improves at all, but CoHo and BS have tons of room to develop. Seems like every non-elite under 23 is getting a bit of the shaft, in basic ratings.

I like the overall discrepancy, it'll be nice not having 4th goons (who used to be 80 overall) end up on the 2nd line over decent players (who were also around 80 overall).
Some of these guys will need some tweaking though.

Anyone else thinks Chris Kreider's rating is pretty low. EA has him listed at 68 overall. After a good playoffs he had considering he never played a regular season game before should be around 77.
