He seems like a genuine guy though. Just don't like putting people on pedestals imo when there is a chance they are exposed like Tiger Woods and Lance Armstrong the fall is quite precipitous. Also there are guys out there who charge for kids to attend their youth football camps and have "foundations or charities set up just to get tax write-offs. Also Eli Manning who is known for being a class guy from a great family was caught selling fake autographs while his brother Peyton sexually assaulted a trainer at University of Tennessee and allegedly basically tea bagged her. You're comparing a guy who cheated to win and lied about it for decades to a guy who cheated on his wife... Tiger Woods hasn't fallen from anything. He is or was the most famous person in the world and you thought he wasn't banging chicks on the side? His wife got 100's of millions of dollars who &^@#ing cares. He didn't do anything worth apologizing for as far as I'm concerned.

God: Well that makes two of us. Peter: Can you answer some questions about Tom Brady? God: Oh no, I wouldn't dare speak for him. Peter: I understand. Guest
I am no NFL fan - but if this kneeling ban came into effect in the NHL, I'd expect 17,000 fans in each arena to kneel together in response. Will NFL fans do anything to support their players?

When half the owners are Trump supporters (sadly so is Mr. Kraft, but he also helped Meek Mill get out of prison, so .. he's kind of back in the middle) and a large portion of US football fans are closeted supremacists, I doubt it. Lateralus91
That rule does sound like it would be from a Soviet hockey league instead of the NFL.

It's not any of our concern what Tiger does with his personal life and he only had to pay his wife 10 million but he changed everything to pay her well over 100 million. Lance Armstrong cheated, in sports, and lied about it for years and it wasn't until he had a daughter and she was defending him that he decided to be like no I cheated. That is completely different from Tiger. I don't care who Tiger sleeps with or if he cheated on his wife it doesn't change the athlete or the person he is. We don't know the full story of it. Society is indoctrinated with religious values. If you don't have those values you are seen as an indecent person. Example if Hillary Clinton leaves Bill for all his cheating then she can't run for President. Who would make a better President Hillary who helped Bill cover up all his scandals or Hillary who left Bill defended women and was shown to be strong and independent? The Hillary who leaves Bill would never be able to run for President.

What Lance Armstrong did was cheat to win and then lie about it and make himself millions of dollars. Tiger Woods did something in personal life which you nor I know the exact facts about. Doesn't change the golfer he is and you can't judge him on what you don't really know as you've just said we all lie.

He also got charged with a DUI and is essentially irrelevant as top golfer nowadays (hasn't won a thing since 2013). He flamed out big time. He's struggled with multiple back surgeries and I don't think he handled the media well at all after the incident with his wife. If he stays healthy he is going to get right back to winning. The DUI was pretty bad, he tried to make it seem like it was an "oops I took a bit too much of whatever and made a mistake", but the toxicology report is pretty damning. Quote The report says the five different drugs that were traced in his system were: Hydrocodone, an opioid pain medication; Hydromorphone, another type of painkiller; Alprazolam, an anxiety drug also under the brand name Xanax; Zolpidem, a sleep drug also under the brand name Ambien; and Delta-9 carboxy THC, which is found in marijuana. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/sports/tiger-woods-dui-arrest-golfer-had-five-drugs-system-toxicology-n792856 It doesn't take a doctor to know you shouldn't be driving while being on opiods, xanax, ambien, and marijuana. Like cmon. And just look at how rocked he was lol. I think all the injuries and the scrutiny really messed with his mojo. No doubt he was one of the best golfers of all-time in his prime, but those days look long gone.

I don't think those days are long gone he has looked very good on the course aside from his driving. If he can start hitting the fairway with his driver he is going to start winning.
