As a long time Buffalo fan, I can tell you that a good rule of thumb is to bet on them when you think they're going to lose, and bet against them in a game that you think they should win... Going into games this season, I liked their chances against the Texans and Chargers (San Diego traveling cross country for an early game)....not so much against the Bears, the Phish and the the Lions.... I doubt the Jets' problem is Vick or Smith, and I doubt it's even the coach, they should be looking further up the chain. In the last 20 games we've had 3. Lions should have signed that youtube trick shot kicker guy when they had the chance. I`m pretty sure that was all just a media stunt though. Also read another interesting nugget about the historically bad kicking this season. The Lions are now 1/9 in field goals 40+ yards. Who would have thought it would be so tough to find a kicker who hits at least 50% of his kicks farther than that. Just praying they sign Prater this week.
