With the 395th overall pick this year, we are proud to select him from the former Colorado Avalanche Ryan "Patty Kane" Wilson Ryan Wilson is known for his solid skating, and ability for a first pass. He's also been stepping up the points year after year. With the Avalanche finally looking to make some waves in the playoffs, we believe he is the right choice to round out the top 4 in our defensive group. He is cheap enough to fit under our self imposed budget, yet skilled enough to play in a top four role. Ryan also has plenty of room to grow as one of our top power play specialist next to veterans such as Kevin Bieksa, and also to grow with players like Adam. The Phoenix Coyotes also chose him for two more rather amusing reasons. Ryan Wilson possess a world renowned talent that is shared only with one other man Patrick Kane, and we believe they also share the same offensive talent. We absolutely love players who chew a mean mouth guard ! The second is that the Carolina Hurricanes, may have believed they could have got this player later this round.
