With our first 14th round pick the Washington Capitals select Defenseman Sheldon Souray.

Here is what ESPN had to say about Sheldon. "The physical tools are there as made evident by his renaissance performance with the Dallas Stars this past season, Sheldon Souray plays best when trying to prove his worth. A fantasy force the past 6 years averaging 38 points a season and last season Souray notched 13 points in the first month (14 games) of the 2011-12 season before settling into a less aggressive routine. Now the veteran D-man will play for $3.67 million annual as he will join the Anaheim Ducks for the next three years. So, again, we expect a vigorous start from Souray (armed with that vicious shot of his), followed by solid numbers as the campaign wears on. The 36-year-old is pegged as the Ducks' No. 1 offensive-defenseman following the departure of Lubomir Visnovsky.

With our second 14th round pick the Washington Capitals are happy to select Defenseman Stephane Robidas.

52025_aptopix_stars_sharks_hockey_medium.jpg

2013 Outlook: With Sheldon Souray enjoying the greener financial pastures of Anaheim, Stephane Robidas re-ascends the Stars' defensive depth chart. A historical fantasy overachiever, this guy just won't go away. Pegged to contribute with the secondary power-play assembly, Robidas can be counted on as respectable third or fourth fantasy defenseman in most leagues. Honest to goodness, the 35-year-old might be in line for his best season since collecting 42 points in 2009-10.
