Gally Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 Honestly, I'm worried about your defense. I don't see as many pool points coming from your defense as you may think. Martin, if he can regain his form he's a solid pick, but a lockout and a year of aging may not help. McQuaid is good for PIMs, and not much more. I like your top end talent (Crosby, Spezza, Okposo, Seto, Hedman, Giordano). Goalies are a toss up IMO. Lindback may not be able to carry the weight TB is putting on him, and Bobrovsky better be damn stellar in CBJ in order to have a chance at winning games (however, CBJ has a bit more depth, less high-end talent though). UMB Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 Very good top end talent, some good depth guys, but also some variables on others you picked when I think there were better options. Defense is weak no doubt, and the defensemen you have probably won't produce much more then 120 pool points combined. I think Backstrom will be an underdog goalie, and I like him as a pool goalie because of the additions Minnesota made with Parise and Suter. Your forwards have to carry your team pretty hard, IMO.
