Despite his problems with his shoulder, Carolina believes that he will have an dominating comeback, and produce numerous points for a team that is looking to dominate in the post season, and not just the regular season. It is said that the Carolina Hurricanes brass had a long sit down with him, before drafting him in order to discuss his tendencies for what is now known around the league as "Photobombing". From what slipped out of the cracks of that closed door session, it is believed that an understanding was reached between player and team. Carolina: "Ryan was rated in the top 30 players that we wanted when the draft began. I think i got something like Derek Morris, Mark Streit, Bruno Gervais, some terrible prospects, and like a 5th for him. Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 The three of us surprisingly think a lot alike in terms of hockey, I mean everyone but Giroux obviously since you took him 1st overall, I had up there on my list but just decided to take other players like Doughty, which you guys wanted as well.
