Not really. He was on pace for consecutive 40 point years even in his lowest point in his career. Prior to his struggles in Ottawa he scored 55+ points along with 20+ goals. He was always a legit top six forward but went through some injuries and couldn't find his stride in Ottawa. Now he that he clicks with Spezza you should expect that he hits upwards of 50 points this year.

Not a high risk, high reward pick IMO.
