Time frame that the GM is on the clock is 9:00 AM PST to 10:59 PM PST Between the hours of 11:00 PM PST to 8:59 AM PST, the 12 hour rule doesn't apply. So if a GM picks at 10:00 PM PST, the other GM has until 7:59 PM PST to make his pick. Starting at 8:00 PM PST, the next GM is on the clock. To answer the question of, if PK and I are not there to announce the next pick if a GM gets skipped. We know until what time the GM has to pick, if he picks before that, that's fine, if not(posts show time posted), the next GM automatically pick without us having to mention it Also, since the Islanders made their pick at 11:31 PM PST last night (not counted in the hours), Ottawa has until 8:59 PM PST to pick.
