RUPERTKBD
GO LIONS!!!! Lets mop the floor with swagger-what?!?!? It's been a bit more like stagger-ville this season.... ...but I'm not going to get too carried away just yet. The Leos showed everyone last season that the CFL is a league where a team can recover from a bad start. Mayray2112
hasnt been the best game for the lions but I knew they would come back. Lulay probably had his worse game of the year but performed when it mattered Edited August 25, 2012 by Mayray2112

Jet_91
Definitely didn't deserve that one, but did anyone see that the Bomber player's foot was clearly out before the 1st down marker on that huge 3rd down play!? I was livid that they didn't take another look at that one, so I guess it all evens out in the end. Oh well, take the win and move on to the next one. Wasn't a great game but the end was a thriller. Mayray2112
surprised bc got the win didn't deserve it that's for sure lets just say its karma for chanting "BC SUCKS!!!" when they were losing in the 3rd quarter
Bruce Boudreau
BC got the win but the offence is out of sync. They have Montreal back to back coming up the next two weeks so they better clean it up because they can't expect the defense to bail them out every game. They were lucky to get this win. Brad Marchand
What happened to that RoughRider team that beat the Leos early in the season? It disappeared with that 17-point lead they had against Calgary four weeks ago.
Grapefruits
Not really a big surprise, kinda surprised it took this long actually. ---------------------------------------------------- BLUE BOMBERS RELEASE COACH LAPOLICE; NAME BURKE REPLACEMENT WINNIPEG -- Paul LaPolice has paid the price for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' losing season. The CFL team fired its head coach on Saturday and replaced him with defensive co-ordinator Tim Burke. The announcement comes a day after the Blue Bombers dropped 20-17 decision at home to the B.C. Lions to fall to 2-6 on the season, last in the overall standings. LaPolice was in his third season in Winnipeg and leaves the team with a 16-28 record. After taking over for the fired Mike Kelly after the 2009 season, the Bombers struggled to a league-low 4-14 record in 2010. But Winnipeg rebounded in a big way in 2011, winning the East Division with a 10-8 mark before losing 34-23 to B.C. in the Grey Cup. Just months after LaPolice was given a two-year contract extension, the Bombers stumbled out of the gates this season and went 0-4. Winnipeg didn't register its first win until a 23-22 home victory against the Edmonton Eskimos on July 26. LaPolice came to Winnipeg after three season in Saskatchewan, first as a receivers coach, then as offensive co-ordinator as the Riders went to the 2009 Grey Cup. He became Winnipeg's 28th head coach on Feb. 5, 2010. "This was an extremely difficult decision to make especially when dealing with the kind of quality individual as Paul is," Blue Bombers vice-president and general manager Joe Mack said in a statement. "As the season has progressed, and looking back on how we struggled throughout the second half of the year in 2011, we have become increasingly concerned with the direction of our club and felt this was in the best interest of our entire organization."
