Pears
We now need to trade Luongo for a top six forward no question. But we can also dump Ballard, Raymond, and Alberts as well (maybe let Higgins and Malhotra walk if necessary at the end of the year) which would free up close to $10 million. Say Luongo is traded for a top six winger with say, a $5 million cap hit. Top six solidified. Then we can trade Ballard and Raymond for an extra $6,475,000 of cap space. When that's all said and done we would have $9,239,999 in cap space. Plenty of room.

WHL rocks
If Edler not signed to extension he'll be UFA next summer. Not good. He will get huge offers as one of the most if not the most coveted UFA next summer.

Drybone
He doesnt want to sign here or he wants too much. If there is no season he is a UFA . However, I do think there will be a season so we can trade him to a team that wants to over pay him and he wants to go to.
Remy
This is not a problem I anticipated we'd be having, at all. Definitely don't like the sounds of all this, but hopefully it's nothing too serious and we can get him locked up.

Pears
When exactly were we able to trade players for cap space?
G-52
Meaning trading them for picks, hence freeing up cap space. Thought you would've figured that out without me having to explain it to you.
Vapourstreak
Picks turn into players, players = salary. Beyond that, who is going to trade for raymond? The answer being nobody of course. Ballard is a good player, with a decent contract. Hes our only capable top4 that isnt in the top 4, meaning if one of our top 4 goes down to injury if ballard was not here, we would have andrew alberts playing top 4 minutes. Is that really something you want to see? All I ask is that you think about the random useless crap you post before you post it. Proposal after proposal, lineups, coaches and strategies. You have an opinion on all of them, its unfortunate how uneducated your opinion can be.
