(my former coach is still there coaching these kids) Hastings rolled through their district, the provincials and through the Canadian Champions to be representing our country in Williamsport PA in the World Outstanding effort to battle out a win against the Mexicans, with some STELLAR defence and clutch hitting. This catch is being heralded as the best catch all time in the LLWS; Tough loss today against Panama, their pitchers were dealing. -Vintage Canuck- Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 Canada eliminated from Little League World Series: Canada's run at the Little League World Series came to an end on Monday in South Williamsport, Penn. after they dropped a 4-3 decision to Curacao. Canadian starting pitcher Cole Dalla-Zana had a strong outing but took the loss, striking out nine batters in 5 1/3 innings and giving up four runs — one earned — and walking one. Noah Hanson-Stafford went 2-for-2 with a homer and two RBIs in the loss.
