Its a three part trade. It looks bad the way its ordered but if you know how it works it actually isn't that bad.
Broken up into the three parts it is no worse than any trade the commish himself has made. The only reason it looks bad is because its all in one trade. If i broke it up, no one would question it.

TO CBJ

Despres (77)
Ferriero (74)
Weise (78)
Pouliot (54)

TO PITT..

Plekanec (86)
Wisniewski (85)
Armstrong (79)

This is the reason why all the trades by CBJ are now rejected, he is not playing in this league to actually PLAY in this league, he is obviously just fooling around, and ruining his team purposely, he has accepted trades more than once this SIM with the same players as well... So we've decided to nullify ALL trades.

Another thing is he has complained multiple times to Zack that he doesn't want to be Columbus.. and honestly, who would? But we don't like people switching teams in this league. You work with the team you picked, and if you don't like it, leave. That's the fun of being a GM.

Sorry to any GM's who have made trades with CBJ this SIM, but this is ridiculous what he's doing and it's going to stop.

I talked to the guy a couple days ago (after I destroyed him in the trade) and he said he seemed like a cool guy, although I asked him about the Semin trade (because he got ripped IMO) and he said that he just didn't care. Good thing you are making a stand.

I don't think your ankle would be at risk of further injury playing a video game regardless of how hard you went but alright, lol.

Philadelphia is online now and at random points of the day tomorrow (mostly tomorrow night). Need Ottawa, Buffalo (Soldier), New Jersey, San Jose, and Phoenix. Hope to play some games before I give Nathan MacKinnon GM status.

I have to play New Jersey.

The Philadelphia Flyers have just handed the New Jersey Devils their first loss of the season! Pekka Rinne stole the show as the Flyers beat the Devils 2-0. Philadelphia led in every statistical category including shots, hits, time on attack, and face-offs by playing a tight defensive team game, limiting the defending Stanley Cup Champions to only 13 shots, with just 3 of those shots coming in the 3rd and final frame where they were down 1-0 at the start.

When asked whether or not his team would grind out the 3rd period to ensure the win, head coach Peter Laviolette immediately responded "F*ck yeah!"

He was later fined $3,500 by the NHL Disciplinarian Brendan "Shenanigans" Shanahan.

The statistics do not reflect the game, however. New Jersey, despite having registered only 13 shots on net, had several chances to tie the game up early. The bounces simply did not go their way. Moreover, as the game dwindled down to its final few seconds Devils' forward Travis Zajac rung a shot off the top right corner of the goal-post, delighting Flyers fans and, most importantly, Pekka Rinne. The Philadelphia goaltender, who earned his first shutout of the season, stood his ground early in the game when the Flyers defence was scrambling. He made quick glove saves on some lethal Kovalchuk wristers from the high slot, stopping the Devils' offence when it looked its deadliest.

Flyers' forward Brad Marchand opened the scoring at 14:18 of the 1st period with some patient work circling around the net before firing a wrist shot that seamed through traffic and into the back of the net. The score remained 1-0 until 4 and a half minutes into the third period, where Tyler Myers shot a cannon of a slap shot off the face-off from the high slot that went off the cross-bar and in.

The Broad Street Bullies look to head into the weekend on a winning streak. They have games against Ottawa, Buffalo, San Jose, and Phoenix.

You what!?!? Isn't there some unwritten code that one can not play the CPU if that team has a human GM? Except, and what might possibly be the only exception, in the case that the human GM has publicly stated that he (or she, can't be discriminate here) can not play his (or her) games -- which neither I nor the other GM have done. Even then, if a human GM can not play his (or her) games shouldn't they be left to simulation and not human vs. CPU?

So if you have, which in fact you did, play my CPU the win streak is not over as neither I nor the other Philadelphia GM have lost since. Big props on blowing out my CPU 5-1 though, although to be honest I would've expected a shutout win for you...

In either case it does not matter. Hopefully we have another game later on into the season as I would really like to play your human controlled LA team.
