Topic is pretty simple. Who do you think is the best skater in today's NHL and best skater ever in the NHL?

Today- Pat Kane
All time-Pavel Bure

For all time you can pick guys who you thought would be the greatest skater at their peak. Like Bure before his knees started to go and slowed him down

Gaborik comes to mind right away, but Viktor Stahlberg might be even better....

The best all-time, IMO, is Bobby Orr.

Orland Kurtenbach and Dennis Kearns had just been torched 8-1 by the Habs, but they still took time to come out to meet us, some fellow BC boys who were playing hockey in Montreal. THAT"S what being a Canuck is!

Feminism will be outlawed. Mostly because it's a backwards idiotic viewpoint that doesn't serve any real progressive purpose.

It's a toss between Luc Robitaille and Dave Andreychuk for the all time award.

Edit: I can't believe that the OP added them to the poll. #zerohockeyknowledge

Jeff Skinner.
He may not have the straight away speed of Gaborik or Hagelin, but wow, his agility and quickness are ridiculous.
Just watching him skate is a treat. Figure skating really did well for him.

I'll go with Crosby. For his small size, he's incredibly strong on his skates, whether standing still, at full speed, or cutting to the net.

A couple guys come to mind.

Crosby
Kovalchuk
Ekman Larsson
Fowler
Erik Karlsson
Skinner
Ducan Keith
Chris Letang
Boedker
Duchene
Bouwmeester

But I'll go with Kovalchuk, just based off pure explosiveness. It's amazing a guy weighing 230 pounds can move like that.

Canucks... I'd say Ballard is the most fun to watch IMO. Raymond is probably fastest though. Kassian is like watching a really fast diesel truck, you don't know how fast he is until he's next to a civic.

Ballard kicked raymonds ass at the skills competition speed test.

Gaborik comes to mind right away.

And was it Cogliano that was a great underrated skater in the last few years? I can't remember who, but I'm thinking him for some reason.
