EvoLu7ioN
A couple guys come to mind. Crosby Kovalchuk Ekman Larsson Fowler Erik Karlsson Skinner Ducan Keith Chris Letang Boedker Duchene Bouwmeester But I'll go with Kovalchuk, just based off pure explosiveness. It's amazing a guy weighing 230 pounds can move like that.
BabychStache
Skinner is a riot to watch. All time Scott Neidermayer is my Fav. Loved watching him rush the puck or qb a pp.
Jason Garrison
Brian Campbell is a smooth skater. JG

BabychStache
Canucks... I'd say Ballard is the most fun to watch IMO. Raymond is probably fastest though. Kassian is like watching a really fast diesel truck, you don't know how fast he is until he's next to a civic.

Master Mind
Gaborik comes to mind right away. And was it Cogliano that was a great underrated skater in the last few years? I can't remember who, but I'm thinking him for some reason.
Tortorella's Rant
Crosby, probably.
zduck14
I'd say Keith Ballard has to be right up there with the likes of Grabner, Gaborik and Campbell. As for all-time, I'd have to go with Bure, Gartner or Wes Walz. Back in the early 2000's, Walz constantly beat out Gaborik for fastest skater on the Minnesota Wild. In fact, most people thought he was hands down, the fastest player in the league at the time.
Clonedanielsedin
Wasn't Letang the fastest? They have skills competitions for a reason. Although endurance can be a factor with speed, in a penalty killing situation how fast are you?
Greybeard
for all time, at their peak, what about Paul Coffey? Or Gardner? Or Glen Anderson? GB
Langdon Algur
Can't believe no ones said Ovechkin yet, say what you will about the guy he sure can skate. Best all time I have to agree with Bobby Orr. Oh and this thread needs a poll!

sharkfinsoup
Mason Raymond or Michael Grabner for right now and I think for all time it would be Bobby Orr would be greatest of all time
westcoast
OV or Crosby would beat almost anyone in a 8 foot race which is all that really counts. The players that can wind up their speed over a lap don't really translate that too much to a game. Hamhuis2
You should consider adding Darren Helm to the poll. That guy can fly.
