Please,my head hurts.Go ahead and do the drill and let me know how it goes.

I said Gillis is whistling Dixie.Pixie dust escapes me and my generation.

I have always stated that most every Stanley Cup winning goalie relies upon exceptional defence.

Cory is going to need a lot of help if he is going to win a cup so please lobby for a #1 if Mikey trades Luo.

We don't have one #1 d man nor a d that is a PP specialist-Sami was all that remained and now he is gone.

No elite goalie.No elite PP d man.Looking good,Mikey.

There are oodles of NHL goaltenders that have won Stanley Cups at Roberto's age.

Elite goalies can and have won into their 40's.

I hope Luo brings the cup back to Vancouver if Gillis does trade him, personally speaking.

I hope he holds a Stanley Cup mini parade right down town Van,as close as he can get to Rogers, for all long suffering Vancouver fans.

Yes there have been goalies win the SC at Luongo's age, but the question was how many of them won thier 1st cup at that age with already so much experience?

Basically what I take from the last part of your statement is that you are a hardcore Luongo fan and you dont really care about the Canucks. You want Luongo to win a Stanley Cup with his new team and rub it in the faces of the people who cheer for the Canucks in downtown Vancouver???

Well dont count on it. You can blame our forwards and defense for Luongo's shortcomings all you like but most of the softies he gave up in the playoffs for 3 straight years didn't float through our entire team. I would wager that when Luongo leaves he'll have little more success than he did in his first run with Florida.

But also on the biggest stage Lou only ended up with an .880 save percentage and that is with two shutouts!!! How bad is that? To win we have to expect Tim Thomas to have a save percentage of .850 or lower... like that would ever happen! Not letting the offense off but seriously Lou crapped the bed big time. Out of all the years of watching hockey it is always two stellar performances in goal usually but 2010 stood out as he went from being perfect to incredibly bad. And then back again... and then back to incredibly bad again!

The poor luongo fanboy baby is just upset he is going to have to cry himself to sleep everynight because he has to get rid of his luongo jerseys. Luongo was good for us and had his chances and did not win. Wish him the best and lets move on instead of acting like a little girl.

You have a good point foresure but, it is a little more black and white for a goaltender.

His job is to keep the puck out.

intangibles/grit/character don't really apply to goaltenders.

Playoffs, season, preseason, practice, road hockey, it doesn't matter, his game will never change.

That is why a goalie's stats tell a pretty big story. Seriously what else do you have to go by on a goalie?

How many cups have you earned ,Riviera?

Luo has won at every level but you still stick it to him.Nice one.

42 years in Vancouver with no cup,Riviera. How many goalies is that?

How many players can you count in 42 years of Vancouver Canucks teams have never won a cup?

How about in the entire NHL?

When you get into your 50's and head for your 60's and you have never seen a Vancouver team win a cup then you might start appreciating the goalies and Vancouver teams that actually got to a game 7.

Maybe.

horrible tieing goal by toews in game 7 dribbler lost his job at one point during the first series and only got in becasue of corys cramps got blown out worse that anyother goalie is stanley cup finals history in road games and mutiple 5+ goals against games vs the blackhawks over the few years series. elevating your game in the playoffs means your better than the reg season wich luongo never was. how many times did he get pulled in the playoffs??
