nazzy_rocks23
Hmmm very interesting. Wonder if MG brings a vet in (Ellis, Huet, etc) after Lu is traded. Love how Lack plays, very similar technique to Corey. I guess is he sees maybe 3-5 games this year.
Burr's bandwagon
Will he be an RFA or UFA at the end of this new contract?

-Vintage Canuck-
Lack: "Schneider played 3 years in the AHL before he was really called up. Maybe that's the plan for me as well."
Raiun
Would love to see him play some pre-season games, see how he does. This is awesome news, been waiting on this re-signing for a while, and it's a really good deal. I guess he's not NHL proven even as a backup yet, so he couldn't ask for too much, but I still thought he'd get a bit more/longer deal than this. dariusop2012
Speaking out of my arse right now, but shouldn't the backup goalie have a different style to the starter? Ie. An aggressive starter and a deep in the net back up, so that in the playoffs, the other team will have trouble winning against us.
Lui's Knob
All signs point to lack earning the backup job, Canucks will bring in an experienced goalie in The form of a tryout ( my money is Dan Ellis) and luongo goes for youth and picks and a journeyman dman (bjugstad, mid draft picks and d man). This goes without saying there is a year to play. Mark it.
Ossi Vaananen
Woah woah woah. From what I understand this is a two way in the first year and a one way in the second. Lack will not be our back up this year but he will certainly have a job in 2013. It's sh*t like this that only Gillis thinks of.
CanucksFanMike
Good! one more year with Chicago and he will be ready to take the leap up to the bigs.... Next MG needs to trade for or sign a backup for Schneids

Blömqvist
Hell yes! I wonder where he will be playing though. Back up to Schneider, or back to the AHL? Maybe this is a sign Luongo will soon be gone.

Sensemaker
Good stuff! He will be Schneids' back-up unless MG decides to sign a UFA after trading Luongo. Or perhaps a back-up will be going the other way in the Lu trade
