Every single 'new' proposal is the same as the last one with a different round draft pick like as if that would put the deal over the top. As it stands, MG has about zero leverage in a Luongo trade. It's not a desirable position to maximize a return. It's looking more and more likely that MG rides out the summer and hope some team gets desperate. Master Mind Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 The only reason there are any Kane rumours is because he isn't signed yet coupled with the stories that he's unhappy in Winnipeg. Where facts begin and speculation starts we don't know, but I haven't seen any talk of Wheeler wanting out so they aren't likely to move him without a very good offer coming their way - particularly if they think Kane won't stay.
