RyanKeslord17
A thought came into my head today that made me wonder, if the Canucks are to win the cup this year, or in the years to come, who will be the main reason why? I know, hockey is a team game, and it does indeed take a whole team to win a cup, but there's always that one games changer that sets the lead. To name a few: Dustin Brown, Jonathan Toews, Claude Giroux, Sidney Crosby. All these players have the capability to lead their team to a cup, and 3 of the 4 mentioned have already done that. The Bruins had that rascal Marchand who took the first strides by scoring timely goals, agitating, and targeting our star players. Brown did the same thing, with a more physical edge. When the Canucks went to the Stanley Cup Finals there was one person who set the lead for Vancouver. He did everything. Score goals, hit, block shots, kill timely penalties. His name is Ryan Kesler. Unfortunately due to injuries he couldn't continue his fantastic play and nobody stepped up. My question to you: Do we currently have that game changer/ leader that will put us over the top in this years playoffs? Or do we still need to find that player? If anyone, my vote goes to Kesler. The Sedin's 6th Sense
Do we have that type of a player? No. Who will it be for us though? Kes and Burrows (Doan if he comes here...). But yea, we don't have that type of a player that can do it for us - we need a player that isn't afraid to cross the line / be a dirty player, and as you can see, Kes won't do that, Burr will but doesn't have the effectiveness of Kes, and only player I can see doing that is Doan if we get him. CanucksSayEh
Kes is the most capable, but my money is on a mini beast mode from both Booth and Raymond, at least on offense.

Raph
I think you'll be waiting a long time if you think Raymond is going to be a game breaker.

Langdon Algur
Daniel and Henrik Sedin. You don't have to be a physical player to be a game changer you need to be skilled, and few players in the league have more skill then these two.

Master Mind
Every player has the potential to be a game changer. Sedins could out score the other team. One of our goalies could shut the other team out. Edler could take the next step. Lapierre could get into the other team's heads, Etc. But the most likely is definitely a healthy Kesler. Or Luongo if he's on top of his game every night.

susraiders
I could see it being one of Kesler, Burrows, Booth or Higgins. They seem to turn it on in the playoffs.

Wheels22
Booth could be if he stays healthy and and stays consistent... Also, if he can put the puck in the net on a breakaway.. He had probably over 15 breakaways last season and probably had 2 goals from them... it was very hard to watch
