spoiler alert:

Obama is going to win. Even though it was known already.

The Senate races are slightly more interesting.

It's over. Brobama wins. Everyone go home.

While I agree it is looking real good, I remember the nightmare that was 2000 when Gore was projected on multiple networks as the winner in Florida and the Presidency....

“When facism comes to America it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.”-Sinclair Lewis

A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."-Albert Einstein

So if the Dems win the Senate and Obama wins the election, it is equivalent of a Canadian government with a majority? And if they don't win the Senate, then they have a "minority"?

Obama start to separate himself in Florida now. From being up or down by a few hundred votes Obama is now up by about 20k votes.

The lead will only get bigger from now on.

They definitely have leverage, but all funding bills have to come from the house, which is under control by the republicans so not as much power as a majority gov has up here

I'm hearing reports that there are two hour lineups to vote in the US. If there's a victory it might be for democracy.
