Everything comes from a boat from china direct to my house from now on. Ridiculously cheaper than any other option. Shipping, schmipping. Most of it's free. I bought from newegg all my stereo equipment that was 70% cheaper than retail. Albeit, it was on sale, but still. The best buys and future shops of the world have INSANE mark up. almo89 Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 I don't think that was terrible customer service. It was more of him trying to be cheaky and it was a joke gone wrong. I thought it was funny that he said that though. From my experiences at AVU down at Lougheed, it's been good everytime. Their salesman are not pushy and if you want help they will be there. You can also bargain for things like speakers and they are usually pretty good about it. AVU doesn't sell a lot of low end receivers and speakers which is probably why he told you to go to FutureShop haha. Most of the stuff they sell at AVU are not carried at Best Buy and FutureShop.
