10 Things To Do During the NHL Lockout

(Didn't even notice Kes' hands, imagine that. "He has hands?")

Let's get some more ideas of what to do as generated by fans here....

-Volunteer to transport a referee to his Optician's appointment

We all know that refs can suffer from a serious, progressive/contagious condition affecting their on ice eyesight, resulting in them only being able to see blue/green/white combinations and eliminating red/black/yellow from their vision. This can also impede their ability to blow their whistles, as the eyebones are connected to the blow bones. Now, generally refs do blow, but they struggle at times and we can help in that.

Why not assist the NHL by transporting a ref in your area to their local Optician, to be followed up by a trip to Lenscrafters? In some extreme cases it may be necessary to escort them to lasik surgery, as they may be afflicted with Optianal Retinitis (a crappy outlook).

You will be rewarded with a copy of Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now" Greatest Hits Compilation, as well as a copy of the NHL's latest best selling book, "Reffing By Brail - Journey Of An NHL Referee" as a token of appreciation for your efforts.

I did this one for the Canucks Forum as a little "Thank You" for all the nice comments and everyone who's read my article on PuckBuddys. One more thing to do during the NHL Lockout...

Challenge Alain Vigneault to a Bubble-Gum Blowing Contest!

Canucks fans know how Alain Vigneault loves his chewing gum, frequently seen at Canucks games gnawing away on his Bubblicious like a cow chewing its cud. So, I think it would be tons of fun to challenge AV to a bubble-gum blowing contest. Although, I understand he likes to cheat at this game, so, just don't stand too close to him, otherwise he'll try to burst your bubble!

Here's hoping we won't have to witness the above scene, and that hockey will start on time!
