I can't believe I forgot about hipster douchebags....I actually don't understand the deal with it.
Do they just shop at Value Village and try to get clothes nobody would wear to 'go against the grain'
Are they the guys who claim they listened to a band before it became popular?

Very much agreed to the two bolded points...

However, OP re. the "YOLO" shirt: I wear my hoodie and decided to get it because its meaning is very true: we DO only live once, so don't waste it but make the most of life. I don't think that a message like that doesn't deserve to get printed boldly across the chests of T-shirts and other apparel, but in the current trend of using that phrase for doing dumb things, yes I agree those are idiotic.

ONLY use it for monumental, positive changes and for general motivation to make an impact with every day that you have! That's what I'm wearing YOLO for so don't hate.

YOLO is an internet catchphrase that caught on thanks to dimwits using it as a carte blanche reason to do something stupid then commercialized and marketed back towards the same to separate them from their few dollars.

If the idea is so profound to you, why did you pick the most tacky expression of it? Why not the full phrase/Carpe Diem/Seize the Day/Hakuna Matata/ANYTHING ELSE?

To clarify (should've made it clear earlier-- my mistake on that part), my hoodie doesn't just have the letters "Y" "O" "L" "O" but it's actually written out as the full words (You Only Live Once).

I think I've seen that one... are the YOLO letters a different colour?

Yep it's a black hoodie with white "ou", "nly", "ive" and "nce" but the Y, O, L, and O are different colors. It's pretty easy to find in stores around.

On a slightly broader topic of worst trends, I hate it (though I used to be guilty of it myself) of over-hash-tagging. I mean, what's the point of summarizing yourself with the pound (#) symbol after a short blurb?

- Men wearing skinny bright coloured jeans (bright blue, red, etc) and rolling them up.

- The skinny jeans, deeeeep v-neck, and toque look.

- I still don't get dudes that don't take the sticker off their hats.

Whatever happened to guy wearing a pair of loose-fitting (not hanging off their ass) jeans and a t-shirt? I wear that to work every day with a pair of comfy black New Balance runners. I'm comfy as hell and I feel like jeans are my sweats.

FACT: No man's jeans should be tighter than his wife's / girlfriends / mistress / any woman within 30 feet.

I don't mind "slim fit" jeans. I wear them myself. I can't stand skinnies though. You've got to have a bit of breathing room without it being too baggy.

Hello there, hipsters

FACT: No man's jeans should be tighter than his wife's / girlfriends / mistress / any woman within 30 feet.

There's as much room left for more agreement
as there is extra space
in skinny jeans
when a big muscular guy wears them.

#2 - Shirts that say YOLO on it. Worst internet bandwagon of the year.

Doesn't Kony 2012 win that award?

Anyway, I'm still not a fan of short shorts that have the pockets hanging out of them. WHY design them like that. Make the pockets smaller. Drives me nuts. The ones that aren't like that are completely fine.

Someone mentioned guys and v neck tshirts? Those are incredibly attractive.

Always found it funny how if a girl says that another female is unattractive, she's jealous. If she says another girl's attractive, she's a lesbian
