It's a trend that happens year after year...but the tube socks in sandals.

I see people wearing crocs out in public all the time, aren't those gardening sandals? They shouldn't even be worn they are so terrible looking.

Very much agreed to the two bolded points...

However, OP re. the "YOLO" shirt: I wear my hoodie and decided to get it because its meaning is very true: we DO only live once, so don't waste it but make the most of life. I don't think that a message like that doesn't deserve to get printed boldly across the chests of T-shirts and other apparel, but in the current trend of using that phrase for doing dumb things, yes I agree those are idiotic.

ONLY use it for monumental, positive changes and for general motivation to make an impact with every day that you have! That's what I'm wearing YOLO for so don't hate.

If the idea is so profound to you, why did you pick the most tacky expression of it? Why not the full phrase/Carpe Diem/Seize the Day/Hakuna Matata/ANYTHING ELSE?

To clarify, my hoodie doesn't actually just have the letters "Y" "O" "L" "O" but it's actually written out as the full words (You Only Live Once). I'm not going to let the popularity of an artist like Drake influence me like that.
