Kinda bored and was doing some youtube surfing and saw this clip, Patrick's nothing to get to excited about but you never know stranger things have happened.

:50 and 1:21 for a couple of highlights. didn't find any actual highlight videos so this as close as it gets

Mullen's number is 14.

Ya Bored is probably right lol...according to hockey's future, just an avg player in the minors at best, signing for the AHL. Likely as a result of an expected Tanev with the big club full time and Connaughton/Sauve getting call ups.

You never know how a young player like him will develop.

I am not making the comparrason based on current skill level, but remember that no one drafted Burrows and look at him now.The NHL didnt see anything in Burrows right away, but he matured into a hell of a player.

I'm going to watch the progress of all our prospects and hope they excell. Not much we can do but hope for the best right?

He's only listed at 5'10, 184 pounds. He wouldn't be able to handle the traffic in front of the net, in the NHL, IMO.

Yeah screw anyone under 6' tall, 200lbs. They never amount to anything.

^ in case the image doesn't show. That's Joe Mullen. 5'9, 180 lbs. Undrafted. Rookie debut at 24. Played 17 seasons. Scored 502 goals, 1063 points. 3 Cups. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000. Current assistant coach in PHI. And oh yeah Patrick Mullen's father.

That was over 20 years ago. Players are bigger and stronger now and the game has changed. Players under 6', 190, unless exceptionally skilled or can provide a solid two way performance have thier work cut out for them.
