Maybe I'd appreciate it more if it had some snow-capped accents. I don't know. 1. Montreal 2. Chicago 3. Boston It's hard to separate the love for the sweater from the nostalgia of the great players who have worn it. If the 80s Oilers had never been champs, I'd probably have them at the bottom, but instead they're probably #10 or so for me. Vancouver is middle of the pack. I'm glad they finally ditched the red striping (late 90s stuff). The roads are a little dull, because all you notice is the terrible 'Vancouver' wording and the corporate logo. Always thought the font, colour combo looked too busy. The diagonal "Rangers" text looks weaksauce too. One thing I hate about newer jerseys is when they try to make the logo "Super Awesome!" by making the graphic over complicated. The Sens and Pens looked way better before their logo got jazzed up. PHX, NSH, MIN (and the Thrashers) logos are all garbage and overdone. Buffalo at least noticed the new logo looked like crap and reverted back. The only teams that have done well with complicated logos are Florida and Colorado IMO. Rangers are boring and so are other teams. The only thing good about them is the fact that they have remained untouched for the most part. But the logo's and colors are kinda bring. The number one spot went to the Montreal Canadiens and rightfully so. It’s clean, crisp and has history and tradition behind it. On the other hand, our logo and uniforms seems to go through an identity crisis every five years. There is even talk of bringing in the Vancouver Millionaires jersey as a future third jersey. Free Willy! The problem here isn’t the Orca logo, which has actually developed a little bit of gravitas after 15 years (can you believe it’s been that long?). The problem is the city name, which doesn’t belong on the jersey and needs to go. I'd rank the Canucks in the top 10 best jerseys in the NHL, but i disagree with CBJ in the top 10 (way too high, those jerseys are awful) and LA at 28 (way too low); LA's new black and white scheme is actually gorgeous together. Their colour scheme is one of my favourite in the NHL, and while my preference is the 'stink-in-rink' logo the 'orca-C' is pretty solid too. There's absolutely no way the Canucks jersey can be ranked below Minnesota and Columbus, those are two terrible jerseys. My top 10 jerseys would be: 1. Chicago 2. Vancouver 3. Boston 4. Montreal 5. Grew up with the skate, was both confused and intrigued by the orca and associate some good times with our current ones.
