Pears
Steal for Tampa? Obviously his point totals are going to decrease.. He plays behind Steven Fricken Stamkos. You guys probably don't watch many Lightning games

vv2
Did you say that we should trade Luongo for Lecavalier before? And now your his biggest fan?
Avicii
Why would we want Lecavalier? He's on a way worse contract than Luongo is. Vinny's cap hit stays at $7M+ for another 8 or so years while Luongo's cap hit gradually goes down every year.
kjames05
So we have 3 number one goaltenders with $16m locked up between them. Herp derp.

nd84
It would probably have to be Schneider + Jensen + 1st/2nd
Master Mind
Idk I guess but Price I think is better than Luongo, they are close skillwise but Price is young and I personally think he is probably a bit better than Luongo right now. I would take him over Luongo or Schneider myself if I could have one of the 3.
Pears
Even if Price is better (which is debatable), I'd much rather have that extra cap space. What if we could use it to sign a player like Arnott? Lu + Arnott > Price without a doubt
JimLahey
OP makes zero sense. Trading a terrific tender to a team who is already trying to move one of their top 2, especially for the biggest underpayment which was proposed.
Canucksbiggestfan
I accept your offer. Now I take Luongo and trade him to Florida for Matthias, Howden, Petrovic, and 1st Round Pick. Now I also take Schneider and trade him to one of Columbus, Toronto, or Tampa Bay. Van: Cory Schneider CBJ: Bobrovsky, Anisimov, Savard, 2013 1st Round Pick Van: Cory Schneider Tor: Kulemin, Biggs, Franson, 2013 1st Round Pick Van: Cory Schneider, Mason Raymond TB: Garon, Purcell, Lee, 2013 1st Round Pick, 2014 3rd Round Pick Say I make the deal with Toronto, the line up is... Canucksbiggestfan
Fair enough, thats the spirit. The only question mark is: Let see if Vancouver will be able to trade Luongo for more or less than that. It will allow us to put a value on a franchise goalie. Hint: If Luongo start the season with Vancouver, it would mean the offer they got for him was not good enough to accept them and probably inferior to what you suggest. I personnaly think that you overvalue goalie. Let try to find a gingle fan of these team accepting your trade. According to Bruce garrioch: https://twitter.com/...058061219074048 We are talking about something like Upshall and Jovanovski here. Far from the Matthias, Howden, Petrovic, and 1st Round Pick you suggest.
Master Mind
No I would still say. Price > Lu and Arnott. Lets say that Price and Luongo are the same right now. (Just for arguement sake) Price in 24 I believe? maybe 25? So he is a young goalie who will get better, even if its not alot better he will still get better, he is younger, he will last longer. He's probably the most valueable goalie in the league in my honest opinion. It would take more than a star aging goalie, and a (now) bottom 6 forward who is well past his BBD (best before date) to get Price. Yes it is 1.3 or whatever difference, big deal thats worth it for Price.
Garrison
Schneiderman, tanev and a 1st for Price. I would much rather trade Luongo, tanev, 2 1st round picks plus Raymond. Imagine Schneider plus Price.
