Taresenko. Not even debatable - Well I guess you could consider Yakupov too but Taresenko is the better player.

Markstrom could become a top goalie in the league in a few years.

Not a prospect. That's like saying RNH is a prospect.

I'm going to go Scandinavian and say guys like Armia or Granlund. Such unbelievable talent, when they come to North America they will tear sh*t up.

I'll go top prospects by country assuming this is before they've had NHL experience:

Canada - Huberdeau/Strome/Scheifele
USA - Tinordi/Galchenyuk (played for America)/Bjugstad
Finland - Granlund/Armia/Teravainen
Sweden - Forsberg/Zibanejad/Lindholm
Russia - Yakupov/Tarasenko/Grigorenko

Should cover it. I kind of want to see a mini tournament with these guys.

If Evgeny Kuznetsov can transfer his game over to North America, and play like he had been in the KHL, then he is going to be big.
I say it is between him, Tarasenko, and Huberdeau, with an honorable mention to Granlund.

RNH is a prospect, he is only one year removed from the draft. That's a pretty big prospect if you ask me

Not exactly the best, but these guys will have the best opportunities coming up:

1. Mikael Grandlund
2. Nail Yakupov
3. Jordan Schroeder
4. Emerson Etem
5. Dougie Hamilton
6. Sven Bartschi
7. Alex Galchenyuk
8. Mikhail Grigorenko

Safe bet that we trade Schroeder though. He might be packaged with Luongo.

I guess it depends on your perspective, but I view "prospects" as players who have pretty much never played in the NHL and have yet to display what they can do at the NHL level.
