I recently made a thread asking you about your favourite hits delivered by a canuck. Just watching all of those videos really got my heart pumping! In that same spirit, was wondering which hit RECEIVED by a Canuck angered you the most??

clean, or dirty, no matter

a couple of mine:

The first one, im sorry you cant see the hit that really got me going. Messier hits Linden then while down and out far away from the puck, gets drilled again. :sadno:

Dont know how much i need to explain this one.......and what it led to...... :sadno:

Lastly i picked this one. from what i understand this is the hit that injured keslers shoulder. :sadno:

ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT POST BRAD MARCHAND SPEEDBAGGING DANIEL SEDIN....THAT WAS MY#1 MOST HATED....I JUST CANT WATCH IT. :sadno:

Anyways, i would love/hate to see which hits fired you guys up the most.

Great thread, CDC can take out it's frustarions on other teams instead of arguing between them selves.

The hit that bothered me the most was the one that led to Bertuzzi being suspended for the playoffs when Canucks were poised to make a run.

Moore on Naslund.

Tough call, to pick just one...probably Keith on Daniel.

Here's another to add to the list:

You gotta wonder how much that elbow on Linden (was that Graves?) then Messier's antics would've gotten nowadays. Might have made game 7 a lot different if there were a couple of suspensions there. Granted the Canucks may not have even gotten to the finals if Bure got suspended for his elbow on Churla earlier in the playoffs....

But that Moore hit was probably the one that made me the most mad. Say what you want about Marchand, but he is good enough to play in this league. Moore was a fringe player at best just trying to make a name for himself.

apparently in game 7 of the 1994 finals linden was playing with 2 broken ribs but still scored both of canuck's goals...cuz messier speared him twice with his hockey stick...imagine...if linden was healthy we probably would have won...

That Kronwall hit was not bad. Clean hit. Kronwall is one of my favourite players because of his hits. I'm not a homer, I respect and do not mind big clean hits on our players. That makes hockey fun. I sometimes want our players to get hit to wake them up in the game.

That is what makes good rivalries and good hockey, big clean hits going both ways. But Keith on Sedin is another story.

Can you believe the Boston fans ?

"Floopppeerrrr, floppppeerrrr"

Seeing him all busted and showing his support IN Vancouver for game 7 was inspiring. Because of that I'll always have a soft spot for him. It's not easy going from broken back to top performance. I wish him the best for this season.

most recently has to be Keith on Sedin, dirty as hell.

All time has to be Messier on Linden, if Linden wasn't playing game 7 hurt who knows how well he would have done. Even playing hurt he got 2 goals, if he was 100% could have maybe been 3 and we win the cup

Kronwall hit on Kesler wasn't THAT cheap. I still think it was a bit dirty cuz he kinda left his feet a bit but here's my top 3:

3) Marchand low hit on D. Sedin
2) Keith elbow on D. Sedin
1) Marchand cheap low hit on Salo

This is why I hate the instigator rule. If we had that rule gone, there would be less of this crap! More guys would think twice before doing this. Otherwise they get their face pummelled in. Brad Marchand may like that even, then maybe his nose would be so big.

I hate to see the lack of response by the Canuck players in these videos. We need some mean green pounding machines.

Excited to have volpatti and pinnizotto!

Way,waay back Messier slashed one of our men (Lindgren?) and broke his wrist. I seem to remember the game was basically won by Edmonton and only a few minutes/seconds were remaining and the slash was not warranted for any reason but Lindgren was out for 6 weeks or so. It was so long ago I wonder how well my memory has served me.

Gosh I really can't stand either one of those hits... this hit esp. made me start to despise the Bruins fans, with their "flopper, flopper"; at least Rome's hit on Horton was clean (albeit somewhat high); Raymond was driven back first and hurt his back, and you call him a flopper. SMH

Oh and who can forget,

Disgusting. The "discipline even more so."

Marchand clipping Salo.

Boychuk hitting Raymond.

The Salo one pisses me off more than the rest, mainly because Marchand and the Bruins brass suggest Salo is a violent player with a rep for running players. Are you f**king kidding me.

Any hit that involves our captain being destroyed, and no one being able to stick up for the guy cause it's symbolizes that the team has no fight in it.
