Chicago would like to thank Americans Kane and Johnson for there service to the team and would like to welcome Bergereon, Seidenberg, Peverly, Monahan and Hamilton. We believe this trade makes us a deeper team with more defensive capabilities from our forwards. We also have high hopes for Hamilton and we expect him to be on the main squad next year. Monahan will also be a great prospect for us and should develop nicely.

Very happy with our deep forward group, good two-way players throughout, Bergeron and Peverly should help with face-offs. Content with our d-corps, but still could be looking for an 85+ d man.

^ That was a very intense game! Hawks take the lead with less than a minute to go, Anaheim ties, Hawks take the lead again with 8 seconds to go, Anaheim scores with under 2 seconds to play to force OT. Jonathan "MVP" Toews scores on the first play of OT to give the Hawks a big win and keep their 14 game unbeaten streak alive.
